UCLA gp130 2 is a humanin peptide mimetic.1 It inhibits NMDA-induced lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) release, a marker of cytotoxicity, in primary mouse hippocampal neurons when used at a concentration of 10 µM, an effect that can be reversed by the gp130 inhibitor SC144 (Item No. 29714).
