    Product Description

    Clindamycin phosphate is a lincosamide antibiotic.1 It is active against P. acnes in vitro (MIC = 0.02 µg/ml). Topical administration of clindamycin phosphate (1% w/w) reduces the number of bacteria at the burn site in a mouse model of P. acnes burn infection. Formulations containing clindamycin phosphate have been used in the treatment of acne.
