    Product Description

    Auramine O is a diphenylmethane dye.1 It displays absorbance/emission maxima of 432/550 nm, respectively. Auramine O is an acid-fast dye that has been used in the staining of various bacteria, including M. tuberculosis.2 It induces autophagy in, and promotes migration of, A549 lung cancer cells.3 Formulations containing auramine O were previously used as food additives.
