    N-acetyl-DL-Tryptophan (DL-NAT) is a derivative of the amino acid DL-tryptophan (Item No. 31210) and a racemic mixture of L-NAT and D-NAT.1 It protects against hydrogen peroxide-induced cell death of NSC-34 motoneurons in an in vitro model of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS; IC50 = 1 µM).
