    Ala-D-γ-Glu-Lys-D-Ala-D-Ala is pentapeptide component of bacterial peptidoglycans.1,2,3 It inhibits the binding of radiolabeled antigen with antiserum isolated from rabbits immunized with an Ala-D-γ-Glu-Lys-D-Ala-D-Ala-containing polypeptide (IC50 = 1,250 pmol).3
