    Product Description

    Pafuramidine is a prodrug form of the protein arginine methyltransferase 1 (PRMT1) inhibitor furamidine (Item No. 19121).1 Oral administration of pafuramidine (25 mg/kg per day), in combination with the antiprotozoal benznidazole (Item No. 29090), reduces the number of circulating parasites and increases survival in a mouse model of T. cruzi infection.2
