Explore CGMP Lipid Services306Oi10 is a branched-chain ionizable cationic lipidoid (pKa = 6.4) that has been used in the generation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for the delivery of mRNA in vivo.1 LNPs containing 306Oi10 and encapsulating an mRNA reporter increase luminescence in the livers and spleens in mice to a greater extent than LNPs containing MC3 (DLin-MC3-DMA; Item No. 34364) or C12-200 (Item No. 36699).2 LNPs containing 306Oi10 and encapsulating an mRNA reporter selectively accumulate in hepatocytes, and to a lesser extent in Kupffer and endothelial cells, in mice. LNPs containing 306Oi10 and encapsulating mRNA encoding erythropoietin (EPO) increase serum levels of EPO in mice.
