    Mca-RPPGFSAFK(Dnp)-OH is a fluorogenic substrate for endothelin-converting enzyme-1 (ECE-1).1 Upon cleavage by ECE-1, 7-methoxycoumarin-4-acetyl (Mca) is released and its fluorescence can be used to quantify ECE-1 activity. Mca displays excitation/emission maxima of 328/420 nm, respectively.
