A20FMDV2 is a peptide that comprises the α-helical RGD cell-interacting domain on the VP1 capsid protein from foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) serotype O and binds to αVβ6 integrin.1 It inhibits αVβ6 integrin-dependent cell adhesion in H357 tongue squamous cell carcinoma cells expressing human αVβ6 (IC50 = 1.2 µM). When coupled with 111indium-DTPA, A20FMDV2 (20 MBq) binds to αVβ6 integrin endogenously expressed for radiation imaging analysis in a MCF10CA1a breast cancer mouse xenograft model.2
