    Product Description

    F9170 is an antiviral peptide corresponding to amino acids 789-803 of the HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein.1 It binds to the LLP1 domain within the HIV-1 envelope protein cytoplasmic tail and inhibits HIV-1 IIIB infection of MT-2 cells (EC50 = 0.19 µM). F9170 (3 mg/kg) reduces plasma viral load in a rhesus macaque model of simian HIV (SHIV) infection.
