    Product Description

Pocapavir is an antiviral agent.1 It reduces viral replication in HeLa cells infected with poliovirus type 2, group A9 coxsackievirus, or Echovirus type 4, -6, or -11 (IC50s = 0.08, 0.09, 0.11, 0.03, and 0.02 µg/ml, respectively). It also inhibits viral replication of 154 clinical enterovirus isolates in infected HeLa cells (mean IC50 = 0.9 µg/ml). In vivo, pocapavir (3, 10, and 20 mg/kg) increases survival in poliovirus type 2-infected mice.
