    Product Description

    Cruzain-IN-1 is an inhibitor of the Trypanosoma protease cruzain (IC50 = 0.2 nM).1 It is selective for cruzain over the Trypanosoma proteases cathepsin L-like protein and cathepsin B-like protease (IC50s = <6 and 6,000 nM, respectively) and a panel of 71 mammalian cysteine proteases, aspartyl proteases, peptidases, matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), and serine proteases at 1 µM. Cruzain-IN-1 is active against T. brucei (MIC50 = 25 µM).
