    Product Description

    FTT5 is a lipid-like compound that has been used in the formation of lipid-like nanoparticles (LLNs) and is a derivative of the ionizable cationic amino lipid TT3 (Item No. 37909).1 LLNs containing FTT5 and encapsulating an mRNA reporter increase luminescence in Hep3B cells and selectively accumulate in mouse liver. LLNs containing FTT5 and encapsulating mRNA encoding human Factor VIII increase plasma Factor VIII activity in a mouse model of hemophilia A. FTT5-containing LLNs have been used for genome editing in mice.
