    Product Description

    NP-118809 is an inhibitor of N-type voltage-gated calcium channels (IC50 = 0.11 µM).1 It is selective for N-type over L-type voltage-gated calcium channels and human-ether-a-go-go (hERG), also known as Kv11.1 (IC50s = 12.2 and 7.4 µM, respectively), as well as a panel of 112 other ion channels, receptors, and signaling targets at 10 µM. NP-118809 (25 mg/kg, i.p.) decreases the number of flinches in the second phase of the formalin test in a rat model of inflammatory pain.
