    Product Description

    Besifovir is an antiviral nucleoside derivative of 2’-deoxyguanosine 5’-monophosphate (dGMP; Item No. 16408).1 It reduces viral replication in Huh7 cells infected with wild-type hepatitis B virus (HBV) or a lamivudine-resistant HBV clinical isolate (IC50s = 3.5 and 7.47 µM, respectively). Besifovir also reduces viral replication in Huh7 cells infected with an entecavir-resistant HBV clinical isolate (IC50 = 26 µM).
