BD 750

BD 750 is an immunosuppressant.¹ It inhibits the proliferation of primary human and mouse T cells (IC₅₀s = 1.1 and 1.5 µM, respectively) without inducing cytotoxicity when used at concentrations ranging from 3.13 to 50 µM. BD 750 induces cell cycle arrest at the G₀/G₁ phases in CD3 and CD28 antibody-activated primary human T cells when used at concentrations of 0.625, 2.5, and 10 µM and decreases the levels of cyclin D3 and cyclin-dependent kinase 6 (Cdk6) in CD3 and CD28 antibody-activated primary mouse T cells at 2.5 and 10 µM. It reduces the proliferation of IL-2-stimulated CTLL mouse T cells (IC₅₀ = 1.2 µM) and decreases phosphorylated Stat5 levels in the same cells when used at concentrations of 5 and 20 µM. In vivo, BD 750 inhibits increases in ear thickness and ear patch weight in a mouse model of delayed-type hypersensitivity induced by 2,4-dinitrofluorobenzene.
