    Product Description

Lipoxamycin is an inhibitor of serine palmitoyltransferase (SPT; IC50 = 21 nM for the S. cerevisiae enzyme) and an antifungal agent.1 It also inhibits human SPT with an IC50 value approximately 10-fold lower than the S. cerevisiae enzyme. Lipoxamycin is active against several species of Candida and Cryptococcus, as well as S. cerevisiae (MICs = 0.5-16, 0.25-0.5, and 16 µg/ml, respectively).

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
