    Cholic acid 3-sulfate is a metabolite of the primary bile acid cholic acid (Item No. 20250).1,2 Plasma levels of cholic acid 3-sulfate are increased in patients with intrahepatic cholestasis and mutations in the gene encoding the bile salt export pump (BSEP), ABCB11.3
