    Product Description

    Metrizoic acid is an iodinated monocarboxylic acid.1 It has been used in gradient media to isolate the parasite B. hominis from human feces as well as in live lymphocytes in adoptive transfer experiments in mice.1,2 A salt form of metrizoic acid, metrizoate, previously has been used as an ionic contrast agent for X-ray imaging and angiography.3
