DOWNLOAD NOW8-Bromoguanosine-5'-O-triphosphate is a derivative of the energy substrate for protein synthesis and gluconeogenesis, guanosine 5'-triphosphate (GTP; Item No. 16060).1,2 It inhibits the E. coli GTPase FtsZ (Ki = 31.8 µM) but promotes the assembly of porcine brain microtubules in a cell-free assay when used at a concentration of 500 µM.
