    Product Description

    1,2,3,7,8,9-Hexachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin is a polychlorinated dibenzodioxin (PCDD).1 It induces the formation of liver adenomas or carcinomas in rats when administered at a dose of 2.5 µg/kg once per week in combination with 1,2,3,6,7,8-hexachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin. 1,2,3,7,8,9-Hexachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin has been found in the air near municipal waste incinerators and in blood from individuals that lived near or in herbicide-sprayed regions.2,3
