    Dioleyldimethylammonium chloride (DODAC) is a cationic lipid that has been used as a transfection reagent.1 Liposomes containing DODAC and dioleoylphosphatidylethanolamine (DOPE) and encapsulating a plasmid DNA reporter induce reporter gene expression in C2C12 mouse skeletal muscle myoblasts.
