    Product Description

Tat-QFNP12 is a peptide containing a transcriptional transactivator (Tat) transmembrane domain and an inhibitor of the protein-protein interaction between N-Myc downstream regulated gene 2 (NDRG2) and the protein phosphatase Mg2+/Mn2+ dependent 1A (PPM1A).1 It decreases the loss of blood-brain barrier endothelial tight junctions induced by increased levels of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), reduces cerebral edema, as well as increases spontaneous activity and symmetry of limb movement, in an endovascular puncture-induced mouse model of subarachnoid hemorrhage when administered at a dose of 20 mg/kg.
