    1,2-Dimyristoyl-3-trimethylammoniumpropane (DMTAP) is a cationic lipid that has been used as a transfection reagent.1 Lipid nanodiscs containing DMTAP and dimyristoylphosphatidylcholine (DMPC) and bound to siRNA against GAPDH reduce GAPDH enzymatic activity in HepG2 cells.
