    BHD is a reversible male contraceptive agent.1 In vivo, BHD (100 and 500 mg/kg) induces spermatogenic cell apoptosis and seminiferous tubule abnormalities, disrupts the blood-testis barrier, and reduces the fertility index in male mice for a duration of two to six weeks post-administration.
