    Collagen type II (358-368)-biotin peptide is a biotinylated version of the fibril-forming heterotrimeric protein collagen type II, which undergoes citrullination by peptidyl arginine deiminase 2 (PAD2) and PAD4.1 Citrullinated collagen type II (358-368) has been found in synovial fluid isolated from patients with rheumatoid arthritis.2,1 Cayman’s Collagen Type II (358-368)-biotin Peptide is intended for use as a negative control in the detection of autoantibodies against citrullinated collagen and is the non-citrullinated form of Citrullinated Collagen Type II (R360+R365) (358-368)-biotin Peptide (Item No. 39126).
