Dihydromyristicin is a derivative of the alkenylbenzene myristicin.1 It induces glutathione S-transferase (GST) activity in the liver and small intestinal mucosa, but not the forestomach, lungs, large intestinal mucosa, or bladder, in mice when administered at a dose of 20 mg/animal.
