    Methohexital (Item No. 39377) is an analytical reference standard categorized as a barbiturate. Methohexital has anticonvulsant activity in mice.1 It substitutes for cocaine (Item Nos. ISO60176 | 16186 | 22165) in baboons.2 Formulations containing methohexital have been used as general anesthetics. Methohexital is regulated as a Schedule IV compound in the United States.
