    Product Description

Sulfonadyn-47 is a dynamin inhibitor.1 It inhibits dynamin GTPase activity in a cell-free assay (IC50 = 3.5 µM). Sulfonadyn-47 inhibits clathrin-mediated endocytosis in U2OS cells (IC50 = 27.3 µM), as well depolarization-stimulated uptake of FM4-64, a marker of synaptic vesicle endocytosis (SVE), in isolated rat brain synaptosomes (IC50 = 12.3 µM). In vivo, sulfonadyn-47 (30 and 60 mg/kg) has anticonvulsant activity in the 6 Hz corneal kindling mouse model of seizures.
