    Product Description

    1-Palmitoyl-sn-glycerol is a monoacylglycerol that contains palmitic acid (Item No. 10006627) at the sn-1 position. It has been found in M. stipulata and is cytotoxic to HeLa, HepG2, and MCF-7 cells when used at a concentration of 100 µg/ml.1 Plasma levels of 1-palmitoyl-sn-glycerol are negatively associated with prostate cancer risk, and it is found at a higher level in plasma from patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia than those with prostate cancer.2
