    Product Description

5-Aminothalidomide is a derivative of the immunomodulatory compound (±)-thalidomide (Item No. 14610). It inhibits the proliferation of EA.hy926 endothelial cells (IC50 = 200 µM).1 5-Aminothalidomide is an intermediate in the synthesis of a PROTAC c-MET degrader with antiproliferative activity in c-MET-sensitive EBC-1 and Hs 746T cancer cells.2 It is also an intermediate in the synthesis of a thalidomide derivative that reduces clinical scores in a mouse model of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE).1
