    Product Description

DU-14 is a steroid sulfatase inhibitor (IC50 = 55.8 nM).1 It inhibits the proliferation of MCF-7 breast cancer cells (IC50 = 38.7 nM).2 In vivo, DU-14 (30 mg/kg), in combination with the steroid precursor dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS; Item No. 15873), potentiates DHEAS reversal of scopolamine-induced amnesia in the passive avoidance test in rats.1 It also prevents scopolamine-induced amnesia in the passive avoidance test in rats when administered at a dose of 30 mg/kg per day.3
