    Product Description

DCI-Ac-Py is a turn-on fluorescent probe for the detection of biothiols.1 Upon reaction with biothiols, it is converted into DCI-Br-Cou and displays a shift in absorbance from 396 to 541 nm and an emission maximum of 713 nm. DCI-Ac-Py has been used in the study of biothiol fluctuations in the brain in a mouse model of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury.

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
