    Product Description

NS 3728 is a chloride channel inhibitor.1,2 It inhibits the volume-regulated anion channel (VRAC) in HEK293 cells and chloride conductance in washed isolated human erythrocytes (IC50s = 0.4 and 0.6 µM, respectively).1 NS 3728 also inhibits calcium-activated chloride currents in Ehrlich-Lettre ascites carcinoma cells (IC50s = 2.11 and 0.7 µM at +95 and -50 mV, respectively).2 It reduces the proliferation of Ehrlich-Lettre ascites cells and inhibits IFN-γ-induced nitric oxide (NO) production in BV-2 microglia (IC50s = 0.52 and 3.7 µM, respectively).2,3
