    N6-Methyl-2'-deoxyadenosine is a nucleoside and inducer of erythroid progenitor cell (EPC) proliferation.1 It stimulates the proliferation of EPCs isolated from mouse fetal livers and colony formation of isolated mouse bone marrow cell-derived progenitor cells when used at concentrations of 10 and 100 µM. N6-Methyl-2'-deoxyadenosine accumulates along promoters and gene coding sequences in activated mouse prefrontal cortical neurons and is associated with activation at the brain-derived neurotrophic factor (Bdnf) P4 promoter, which is essential to the extinction of conditioned fear.2
