    Product Description

    XIE62-1004 is an inducer of autophagy.1 It increases the number of p62 aggregates, as well as the number of autophagosomes and autolysosomes, in wild-type HeLa cervical cancer cells, but not in HeLa cells deficient in the gene encoding p62, SQSTM1, when used at a concentration of 10 µM. XIE62-1004 induces autophagic flux and the conversion of LC3 autophagy marker I (LC3-I) to LC3-II in HeLa cells. It increases the degradation of mutant huntingtin (mHTTQ103) protein expressed in HeLa cells.
