    Lophophine (hydrochloride) (Item No. 40538) is an analytical reference standard categorized as a phenethylamine and precursor in the synthesis of alkaloids.1 Lophophine has been used as a precursor in the synthesis of (–)-lophophorine and (–)-anhalonine, alkaloids found in L. diffusa and L. fricii, also known as “false peyotes.” This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
