    Meloxicam (Item No. 40657) is an analytical reference standard categorized as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and COX-2 inhibitor.1 Meloxicam has been found as an adulterant in illicit samples distributed as food in capsule form.2 Formulations containing meloxicam have been used in the treatment of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. This product is intended for analytical forensic applications. This product is also available as a general research tool (Item No. 14906).
