    Cimlanod is a nitroxyl donor.1 In vivo, cimlanod (7 µg/kg/min infusion for four hours) reduces mean arterial pressure (MAP) and systemic vascular resistance and increases cardiac output at four hours post infusion in a dog model of microembolism-induced heart failure.
