    (−)-Narwedine is an alkaloid that has been found in N. pseudonarcissus and has enzyme inhibitory activity.1 It is an inhibitor of acetylcholineesterase (AChE), butyrylcholinesterase (BChE), and prolyl endopeptidase (IC50s = 281, 911, and 907 µM, respectively).
