    Product Description

    Cipepofol is a general anesthetic.1 It binds to the GABAA receptor when used at a concentration of 10 µM. Cipepofol inhibits decreases in superoxide dismutase (Sod) levels, increases in NADPH oxidase (Nox) levels, and apoptosis induced by the β1- and β2-adrenergic receptor agonist isoproterenol (Item No. 15592) in H9c2 rat cardiomyocytes and reduces infarct size in a mouse model of isoproterenol-induced myocardial infarction.2 It induces loss of righting reflex (LORR) in mice (ED50 = 1.5 mg/kg).1
