    Product Description

    Isoxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).1 It inhibits the production of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2; Item No. 14010) in HSDM1C1 mouse fibrosarcoma cells (IC50 = 2 µM).2 Isoxicam (12.5, 25, and 50 mg/kg) reduces carrageenan-induced paw edema in rats.1 It also reduces hind paw weight in a rat model of adjuvant-induced arthritis when administered at doses of 1.56, 6.25, or 25 mg/kg per day.
