Minaprine is an antidepressant.1 It reduces immobility time in the forced swim test in rats when administered at a dose of 5 mg/kg for nine days. Minaprine (40 mg/kg) induces convulsions in rats.2 Formulations containing minaprine have previously been used in the treatment of depression.
