    Napirimus is an immunosuppressant.1 It is efficacious and preventative in a rat model of polyarthritis induced by complete Freund’s adjuvant when administered at doses of 200 and 100 mg/kg, respectively. Napirimus is 50 and 90% protective against experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), previously known as allergic encephalomyelitis, in rats when administered at doses of 100 and 400 mg/kg, respectively.
