    Product Description

ISRIB is a mixture of the diastereomers and integrated stress response inhibitors cis-ISRIB and trans-ISRIB (Item No. 16258).1 trans-ISRIB inhibits gene transcription induced by activating transcription factor 4 (ATF4) more effectively than cis-ISRIB in a reporter assay using HEK293T cells (IC50s = 5 and 600 nM, respectively). trans-ISRIB decreases the latency to escape in the Morris water maze and increases the length of freezing time induced by contextual fear conditioning in mice.
