Explore CGMP Lipid ServicesCP-LC-0867 is an ionizable cationic lipid that has been used in the generation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for the delivery of circular RNA (circRNA) and mRNA in vivo.1,2 Intramuscular administration of LNPs containing CP-LC-0867 and encapsulating circRNA encoding a luciferase reporter induce the production of luciferase protein for at least 14 days in mice.1 LNP-based vaccines containing CP-LC-0867 and encapsulating mRNA encoding the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) spike protein increase B- and T cell responses in mice with an increase in serum IgG titers and splenocyte IFN-γ levels, respectively, after six weeks.2 CP-LC-0867-containing LNP-based mRNA vaccines increase splenocyte IFN-γ levels in mice to a greater extent than vaccines containing CP-LC-0431 or CP-LC-0474.
