    Lodenafil is an inhibitor of phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) and an active metabolite of lodenafil carbonate.1,2 It enhances acetylcholine-induced relaxation of isolated human corpus cavernosum and rabbit cavernosal strips precontracted with phenylephrine (EC50s = 676 and 589 nM, respectively).2
