    Product Description

IMB-808 is an agonist of liver X receptor α (LXRα) and LXRβ.1 It induces transactivation of LXRα and LXRβ in reporter assays using HEK293T cells (EC50s = 0.15 and 0.53 µM, respectively). IMB-808 (1 and 10 µM) increases protein levels of ATP-binding cassette transporter 1, subfamily G (ABCG1) and ATP-binding cassette transporter 1, subfamily A (ABCA1) in RAW 264.7 and THP-1 cells. It induces cholesterol efflux and reduces oxidized LDL-induced lipid accumulation in RAW 264.7 cells when used at concentrations of 1 or 10 µM.
