    DS-3801b is an agonist of the motilin receptor.1 It induces the production of inositol monophosphate (IP1) in COS-7 cells expressing the human or rabbit motilin receptor (EC50s = 5.3 and 1.3 nM, respectively). DS-3801b induces contractions in isolated rabbit duodenal muscle strips (EC50 = 7.3 nM).
