    Product Description

    Butamirate is an antitussive agent.1 It reduces proliferation, STAT3 activity, migration, and invasion in U87 glioma tumorspheres. Butamirate (2 mg/kg per day) decreases tumor volume in a U87MG glioblastoma mouse xenograft model. Formulations containing butamirate have been used as cough suppressants.
